Today world’s cheapest tablet is launched in India named as Aakash 2 which is an updated version of earlier Aakash Tablet . This tablet is launched by Indian President Mr. Pranab Mukharjee in an event . After full one year this device is officially launched and Indian government giving subsidy on this handset for students and priced at Rs 1132 ( only for Students of Indian Institute of Technology )

Aakash Tablet disappointed last year due to its worst features and hardware specification but this time Datawind improved its hardware and added some more features to it . Lets see what new in this low cost tablet .

This handset is powered with 1Ghz cortex A8 processor ,combined with 512 MB RAM which is enough to handle multi task with ease . A 7 inch capacitive type touch-screen is installed in the handset having a resolution of 800 x 480 pixels which also support multi-touch up to 5 touch point . Earlier there was a resistive touch screen display ,this is a big change . Tablet runs on most popular android os i.e. 4.0.4 Ice Cream Sandwich which having less bugs and more user-friendly .

There is also a front facing camera is added for making video calls via Skype or other apps . Wi-fi is also present to connect this device to a high-speed internet connection . A 4 GB of internal memory is embedded in this tablet for saving your personal stuffs and files which can be increased up to 32 Gb with the help of Micro SD card .
