iPhone 5S is equipped with an 8 megapixel camera, and Apple, apparently, is going to continue to use the 8-megapixel sensor in the iPhone 6, though, most likely, the camera will receive a number of improvements over the existing model.

8-megapixel camera in the iPhone 6 is rumored to be having an improved optical image stabilization, as well as a number of other updated features. Of course, at this point it’s just a rumor. It is possible that iPhone 6 could have the camera with a higher resolution than 8 megapixels.

Apple first put an 8-megapixel camera on the iPhone 4S back in 2011, since then, with each new version of the mobile camera has received a number of improvements and enhancements. For example, an 8-megapixel camera iPhone 5S significantly improved compared to the 8-megapixel camera iPhone 4S. It was noted by many experts.

It will be interesting to see whether Apple decided to continue to use the 8-megapixel camera in their next iPhone.
